Montigo Resorts Nongsa was designed to have the facades of each resort apartment facing the sea. The wide bay windows on the facade of the buildings allow views of the sea and bring in natural lighting. The back of the resorts are accented with criss-crossed black lines, which are inspired by the tartan pattern. This pattern helps to soften the harsh feeling the buildings provide when it is left as it is, with the white-washed walls.
The stairway leading down to the residential buildings has long, white, branch-like walls encased in white rectangle frames, as well as white concrete stairs. The white stairway is contrasted by dark wood placed in the middle, with a tree planted in. This connects the stairway back to the natural surroundings of the resort, as well as preventing the white passageway from appearing too sterile.
