GENERATION HOME – SIXTH CRESCENT
The wooden screens, coupled with the black and white, are instantaneously recognisable along the row of houses along Sixth Crescent. These wooden screens, varying in their heights and openings, create a sense of movement.
The front faces a south-western direction, thus these wooden screens protect the interior from the sun. The regularity of the grid and block form is carried into the interior decor of the house. A separate volume overlooks a slender lap pool lined with black tiles and the water captures the ever-changing reflections of the sky and its peaceful surroundings.
