THE GARDEN

Screens play a pivotal role in this house by shaping the spatial experience. They divide spaces and layer the exterior in multiple parts of the building, casting captivating shadows that dance across the rooms and temporarily paint the furniture, floors and walls.

The living room area boasts expansive, uninterrupted white ceilings that soar overhead, creating an illusion of horizontal vastness and airiness. This design choice amplifies the sense of openness and tranquillity, allowing natural light to flood the space and enhancing the overall feeling of serenity.

Large windows in the living room serve as portals to the private garden outside. An extended shelter emerges from the sides of the building along the outdoor walkway next to the living room, acting as a subtle shield of privacy from neighbouring units.

This home features a deluxe home office surrounded by wood panels on the floor and on the ceiling, creating a sense of warmth when one is immersed in work. A long L-shaped office table sits grandly in the centre of the room and is paired with a built-in floor to ceiling shelf that illuminates light at the back. A clean, professional touch is hence added to this residence.
