CORTEN STEEL HOUSE

At first glance, the corten steeled hut that modestly sits atop captures one’s attention immediately. Its bronze coloured rusty appearance complements the concrete walls of the first floor, allowing this organic blend of materials to create an earthly aesthetic that is natural and soothing to the eye and touch.

Slightly to the left, a pointed tower that quietly ejects diagonally away from the corten steeled hut appears minimal, but it is a surprise to many that this segment of the house actually makes up a majority of the space. Stretching widely, its diagonal positioning angles into the corten steeled hut on the outside, helping to maximise space without compromising style - an interesting solution to solve the challenge of building on a land shaped like an acute angle.

Ample greenery surrounds the structure and within it. A private, tranquil garden is positioned inside the building, providing a refreshing contrast to the concrete backdrop, adding texture and visual interest to the space. One is now able to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the indoor landscape, fostering a connection with the outdoors while enjoying the comfort and convenience of the interior environment.
